Ryanair jokes it is introducing "child-free" flights

RYANAIR HAS “ANNOUNCED” that it will introduce ‘child-free’ flights from October. In what is most likely an early April Fool’s prank (the statement is dated as April 1) the airline says it was influenced by a pan-European survey of 1,000 passengers – half of those surveyed said they would pay higher fares to avoid having to sit in an enclosed space with other people’s children.

What is definitely true is that Ryanair is to add a €2 levy on to every passenger who book a flight from next Monday. The levy is to cover costs incurred by Ryanair when they are compensating people who have had their flights delayed or cancelled in ‘force majeure’ conditions like last year’s severe snow and ice and the volcanic ash crisis.

It’s worse when the employer forces a good hardworking employee to resign but still keeps on an overpaid person who blatantly steals and lies but yet higher management thinks they’re the best thing since sliced bread!!

Or Colin, works the hell out of a Jobscam intern for the duration of their placement and then mysteriously discovers there isn’t a job there after all.

Coming from a family retail business, we found that delivery drivers were the worst culprits, either stealing stock or not delivery exactly what was on the docket

And the law doesn’t make it easy either. We had an employee make a copy of all of our customer contact details, tender documents, basically everything he could copy. Cost us €4,000 odd in legal fees and forensic examination of his laptop to discover this and was then told it would cost €50k plus to take it any further without any guarantees that we would be awarded costs if we won. So he stole loads of data, broke contract on multiple clauses and yet it could possible cost us €50k plus to sue even though we had rock solid evidence.

Clearly you hired one seriously greedy human being if that’s the case; the other end of the spectrum. The “I’m worth it and more” type, per chance?

Every business suffers an element of theft. Every business accepts it’s a reality. At least any business owner I know.
