WTF is this thing doing in St Stephen's Green this morning?

WHILE MANY DESPAIR over Christmas decorations entering the shops before Halloween even darkens the door, this is just taking the mick.

This Christmas grotto, complete with stockings and gifts, is currently hanging out at the entrance to St Stephen’s Green park.

Don’t worry folks – well, maybe do worry a little bit. Today the Dublin City Business Improvement District will announce new plans for St Stephen’s Green Park this Christmas, including a “major new Christmas attraction” for the city. (ICE RINK?)

This is there for the photo call.

Phew. Everybody can return to normal life now.
