Four arrested over foiled raid on Dublin home

GARDAÍ HAVE ARRESTED four men aged in their 20s and 30s in connection with an attempted attack at a house in Tallaght, Co Dublin, early this morning. The four men, armed with a firearm, failed to gain entry to the house at Brookview Rise and were arrested after leaving the scene by car. The four are being held at Rathfarnham and Tallaght Garda Stations under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act 1939 for the unlawful possession of a firearm.
