CONOR McGREGOR IS the undisputed UFC featherweight champion of the world.
The Irish star took just 13 seconds to defeat Jose Aldo by KO tonight at UFC 194 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
McGregor dropped Aldo with a left-hook, followed up with with hammer fists and referee John McCarthy stepped in to bring an end to Aldo’s reign as the only undisputed UFC featherweight champion in history.
In his post-fight interview, Aldo (25-2) — who had been undefeated for over 10 years — called for a rematch.
Having predicted a first-round finish in the build-up to the fight, McGregor (19-2) was once again true to his word as he claimed his 15th consecutive victory and seventh in the UFC.
