Poll: Do you want to see a united Ireland?

The first step would be a border poll, in which the north would say it wanted the border removed.

SINN FÉIN POUNCED on the Brexit result this morning, saying that they want a border poll after Britain voted to leave the EU, while the north favoured remaining.

“We have a situation where the north is going to be dragged out on the tails of a vote in England… Sinn Fein will now press our demand, our long-standing demand, for a border poll,” Sinn Fein’s national chairman Declan Kearney said.

The first step would be a border poll, in which the north would say whether it wanted the border removed. The Republic would then be asked to vote on accepting unification.

But would you want it?

We’re asking: Do you want to see a united Ireland?

Poll Results:

Yes (42882)
