Two people taken to hospital after serious road crash in Cork

Gardaí are urging any witnesses to come forward.

GARDAÍ ARE APPEALING for information after two cars were involved in a serious crash this morning in Cork.

The crash happened at around 7am on the N28 in Carr’s Hill, Douglas, which is on the Carrigaline side of the Bloomfield interchange to the south-east of the city.

The drivers of both cars were taken to Cork University Hospital.

Investigating gardaí are keen to speak to anyone who may have been in that area around that time this morning.

Anyone who was is urged to call Togher Garda Station on 021 494 7120, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any garda station.
