    It’s all Mary’s fault !
Never praise the sun in Ireland Mary ; it has a very twisted sense of humour !

Re No 8 ‘The harbour in Co Tipperary. Pic : Garry Kennedy’ … the harbour is actually in a village named Garrykennedy, approx 8 miles from Nenagh ;-). The Lough Derg sunset in No 11 is also a view from Garrykennedy

I only correct you because it’s a beautiful little village in a great location & I’d recommend it to any Journal readers. I have great memories of there and it was lovely to see the photos here today so thanks to the photographer

Katie, for no apparent reason, (old age perhaps ?), your comment made me think of the old “p p pick-up a Penguin” ad from some years ago.
Gave me a smile, so thank you.

I just wanted to say how lovely Ireland looks when the sun is out. I live in Australia and get more sun than most, but when you think of how people see Australia as the be all and end all it really doesn’t have a patch on my home country Ireland.
