REMEMBER THE PICKLE that Sinn Féin leader Gerry Adams found himself in a few months ago, involving a missing housekey, a drainpipe and a broken window?
We all got to read about it because he accidentally tweeted about his troubles, instead of texting for help.
But we can all relate, right? The overflowing toilet, the broken key in a lock – the little annoyances that mess up your whole day (and sometimes your house).
So when we saw this bunch of newly-posted DIY tip videos from AA Ireland, we thought of Adams.
(And no, this isn’t a sponsored post – we just thought they were useful.)

Erm! It might just be worth mentioning another step required when repairing a tap, i.e. turn off the water.

Getting my son out of bed in the morning is much harder than a key stuck in a lock……I’ve tried everything, crowbar,3 in 1 oil, air horn . I even whispered in his ear that Pat Kenny was making a comeback for R. T. E. but no response whatsoever!
For those who can not change a fuse in a plug, they might not figure out where to buy a fuse for it.
It would be a good a idea to turn of water valve before attempting to remove spindle from tap.
This was really just an advertisement for the AA I thought things like this are supposed to be marked “Advertisement”!
And Susan went to all that effort to point out it wasn’t.

It’s weird because he’s also the owner of that cowboy maintenance company “DeWar” – where they also pretend to be members of the AA when speaking to customers.
Must be a sign of the times if we need a how-to video on how to use pliers. Forget Barney the dinosaur, every child should be given an engine and a socket set and let loose.
A video on how to change the front door lock on a PVC door. It’s one of those things that if you attempt by trial and error, the error part could screw you if you can’t lock your front door by night.

This is a great article.. Being a locksmith myself Rekey Locksmith Los Angeles i get calls like this every day.. Usually i show up and its very simple other times a difficult task. These videos are great going to share it on facebook to our customers.
