TWO PEOPLE HAVE been arrested in connection with the death of Henryk Piotrowski, whose body was found at a recycling facility.
Gardaí at Crumlin investigating the death of Piotrowski (43), whose body was discovered in the Walkinstown area on 23 August 2013, have arrested two people.
They say that a man in his 40s and woman in her 30s were arrested in the Dublin city centre this morning at about 8am.
Both are currently detained at Crumlin Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
Piotrowski, a Polish national, was found dead by staff at the Panda recycling plant after they unloaded waste from a truck. The waste came from bins used by commercial premises and had been emptied into the truck while it was in the Dublin city area.
Gardaí believe that Piotrowski was in the Dame Street area between 7pm and 10pm on Thursday 22 August.
There were also sightings of him on the South Quays in the Wood Quay/Merchant’s Quay area in the early hours of Friday 23 August.
