The Daily PollTÁNAISTE EAMON GILMORE said yesterday that there would be a referendum on same sex marriage “before the end of the lifetime of this government”.
Speaking at the Labour Youth Conference, Eamon Gilmore said he would like to have it next year, but said that if it was not held in 2014, there would be a referendum in spring 2015.
Taoiseach Enda Kenny previously said that the government might take a neutral stance on the issue.
