HALLOWEEN IS A time for finding out which of your neighbours are sound (the ones who give out chocolate and sweets) and which aren’t (the ones who give out peanuts and tangerines only).

Jelly beans
A White House Sweet Dough Butter Cookie made by the White House executive pastry chef Bill Yosses
A serving of dried fruit
