Tánaiste: 'There are people who know where those bodies were buried'

Asked about Gerry Adams’ political future today, Eamon Gilmore said that the priority now has to be to get the bodies never recovered back to their loved ones.

TÁNAISTE EAMON GILMORE has said there are people who know where the bodies of the Disappeared are buried as he urged those with information about those abducted, murdered and secretly buried by the IRA during the Troubles to come forward.

Gilmore was speaking in the wake of ‘The Disappeared’ programme broadcast a week ago, which has put renewed pressure on Sinn Féin’s Gerry Adams as he has been forced to again deny he had any “act or part” in the disappearance of mother-of-10 Jean McConville.

Asked about the Adams’ political future today, the Tánaiste said that the priority now has to be to get the bodies never recovered – of which there are seven – back to their loved ones.

“There are people who know where those bodies were buried and they need to come forward through whatever channel,” Gilmore said today, adding that “in the course of time” people will form their own views about “political accountability and political answers”.

“you have to laugh at this”.

No you don’t. That is a woman who is worried sick that her husband might drop dead at any minute. Where’s the punchline?

Street View updated on the same day that the images were taken?
Come off it….Street View takes ages to update after the photos are taken.
They are checked and processed and stitched together.
I simply don’t believe any of this “story”.
