WINTER HAS ARRIVED at last.
We had a good run of it there for a while, but it’s officially time to button up your coat, get on those gloves and scarves and drink copious amounts of tea.
It all came to a head on Thursday when Met Éireann issued a wind warning.
Winds reached up to 120kph in some parts of the country including Cavan, Monaghan and Donegal.
Leinster also got the message that winter had arrived: with winds of 110kph in some parts.
One brave soul in Buncrana, Donegal, Adam Rory Porter, decided to step away from the radiator and head down to Buncrana pier in Inishowen with his camera.
The results speak for themselves:
