It seems to me that every unemployed IT graduate these days is getting a grant to develop some crappy app that runs in the cloud and harnesses big data for the betterment of the environment.

Are you suggesting you’re qualified for this highly important position? Having observed a number if you’re contributions to these pages I would suggest your application would be rapidly discarded. This way they have avoided embarrassing you.

So we appoint the CEO of one failed organisation to be the Chairman of another failed organisation. Astonishing. We need new blood, New ideas but what we have is a group think public appointments process that cannot break out of its solipsistic busy business model.

Having set up a company 2 years ago, the consultancy and advice from Enterprise Ireland made a huge difference to us and helped us grow way beyond our expectations.

Enterprise Ireland are extremely useful and I know plenty of other people who have availed of their services and would agree.

What a strange contribution to make. Both Enterprise Ireland and the IDA are outstanding organisations. I would respectfully suggest that you need to get out a little more and try to understand the world around you!

This is exactly the group think that I am talking about. İDA & Eİ are very good at telling everybody how good they are but what difference do they really make. How many companies do they really get to locate here who would not have come here but for the IDA and how much have non food indigenous exports (which EI have responsibility for) grown in the past 5 years. What new markets for exports or investment have either organisation cracked in the past 10 years? It is easy to pick low hanging fruit.

Richard Bruton should resign as this appointment goes against what he stood and insisted would not happen if he were elected. No interviews with outside agencies other than the auditing friends. Greed and corruption is alive and well. Shame on you mr Bruton. Does he have any unemployed friends on welfare?
