If Sinn Féin promised to cull 20,000 Public Service hangers on here, I’d vote for them.

Layer upon unnecessary layer of bureaucratic administrators pushing their phalanx of pens – creating nothing except impediments to progress and expediency.

Everytime the public service get involved, their fetishes make them embark on an orgy of form filling to try placate their insatiable appetite for paperwork

Car tax is a prime example. Why not collect it at source? At the pumps?

No. That wouldn’t do at all. We need 43 car tax offices. We need discs printed. We need postage. We need payment options, 1, 2 or 4 times a year. We need a website with payment processing. We need staff. Canteens. We need some people to take a day off productive work if they can’t use the website. We need queues. We need Gardaí to setup checkpoints. We need judges and solicitors to charge people with non payment. We need prison spaces for those who won’t pay. We need pensions for our car tax office workers. We need Gardaí to fill out forms for off the road vehicles. We need 100′s of different tax rates so we can exercise our pens.

Well no, we don’t need this bloated state machinery

Why not collect it at source? 5c on a litre of fuel

That’s disgraceful.. And the story doesn’t even mention how this has affected the Brazilian man. I remember watching that clip and the noise of that kick to the head was excruciating. At this stage I believe I have great contempt for our legal/judicial system.

No shit, Lorraine? How very astute of you to notice. We are now seeing on an almost daily basis the panic amongst TD’s as they realise that their place at the trough may be at risk. Any and every dodge to garner favour with the public is being employed. Lorraine, does the phrase “every man for himself” ring any bells with you. That is now the precise situation and these diligent “public servants” will now knife anybody to hold on to what they have. Grow up.

Fine Gael would prostitute itself with any party, just to cling on to power, because they know, Fine Gael are like an incurable disease. The people of Ireland, will end their reign of deceit and treason. ENDA KENNY has destroyed the Fine Gael party, it will probably take another 50 years, before the people forget the bullyboy tactics, and corruption within the Fine Gael party. Wonder how long it will take until their buddy Denis Obrien, throws them to the wolves.

No honest Political Party would want Labours Policies!

Labour Party – name your three TDs that went to Moscow and attended a seminar on how to destroy Christianity in Ireland?

A former Labour TD who is a practising Catholic gave me the facts!

He has distanced himself from your Party!

The electorate did NOT give you this as a mandate!

Minister Ruairi Quinn did his best to destroy all Christian Doctrine classes in all schools in Ireland!

The Labour Party also closed the Vatican Embassy supported by Enda

Even Enda gave a speech condemning the Catholic Church written by a Catholic Priest from Limerick who was censored by the Vatican!

A four year old child could tell ENDA why Fine Gael are so low in the Poles!

Fine Gael was established as a Christian Party but it has thrown out all Christian values!

    SAD!

Certain politician’s are thinking of there own future instead of thinking of the country,
Is she for real coming out with a statement like that,
Labour have abandoned there election promises and licked up to fine gael from the moment they went into government,
And every labour minister has given the people who went out and voted for them the deaf ear and laughed at them,
Now its getting near that time again where they need US they are trying to justify what they have done,
And all the while Alex white is going ahead with his plans on the broadcasting license which his fine gael masters have instructed him to do,
Labour committed political suicide by going by fine gael policies and they are going to pay the price,
The local elections was there wake them up call and they didn’t listen they just changed leaders,
I can’t wait to see them being crucified and they deserve it for falling into fine gael’s trap.

When you hear Fine Gael TD Regina Doherty attempting to dispel rumours of a rift between her party and Labour, then she’s lying through her teeth! Both Parties are jockeying for position for the next election! FG are getting nervous in case Labour walk out on them, making FG look like they’ve lost their way! Which they have!
