I hope he’s found safe and well. But i must say when these things happen these teens should be held accountable and make a public apology and tell what happens not just that they were found.

Mark was my childhood friend, I went to Killeigh with him for years. It’s been nearly two days with no sign of him and you think he should be held accountable? For what? People like you need to take your head out your hole and cop on, imagine if it was your friend. idiot.

We are all praying that Mark is found, he’s the nicest lad you’ll meet, please god he gets home safely.

I have to agree with Aaron on one small point here. I agree that it is concerning that people are going missing but when they are found, it needs to be immediately addressed to help the person and be aware of what they had done like a national search for them as well. There are too many teenagers going missing and a good number have been found. There needs to be more awareness of parents teaching their children if problems occur, come to them in need. Unfortunately, there are some who have not. Hope this guy is alright and is found safe.

after two days missing do you not think the first people he will want to see are his parents? this is completely not like him as he is well loved by all, Garda statements back me up on this too. There needs to be more done to prevent this obviously, but leaving the blame on Marks feet is completely out of order or on any parent who has a missing child.

What is wrong with this site? They delete people and ban people for having the laugh and yet they leave borderline litigious comments on the site for hours.

Darren. Teenage years are fun but difficult too and i went missing for a night so i’d never judge. I caused my parents huge worry. I didnt mean to hurt them but there was so much shit going on in my head i didnt think even of them.

I hope your friend comes home safe. I really do. God bless. Xxx

Darren, read my comment again. I never said what you were saying or blaming anyone. The fact here is there is quite an alarming number of teenagers going missing lately generally. There needs to be increased talks to all teenagers to ask if there are problems to come to someone. That is all am saying there. Am not laying blame anywhere and finding fault. It is not the parents fault but there is probably an alarming rate of people going missing and not being aware of the affects it has on those left behind. If generally, people mention it to people to come to them when there is an issue, not disappear. It is devastating for families left behind and these issues need to be raised in the teenager generation. I hope your friend will be found safely.

Darren, well said. I really hope that Mark turns up safe and this will all turn out to be a bad dream for you all.

Do you know if there are any search efforts going on in Limerick that people could help out with? Or any way that people could help?

Please God, it will all turn out well.

Good question. There are searches on again today in limerick. They are coordinated by the police. Busses of volunteers have already left this morning from Tullamore and Killeigh.

Please stop making comments about accountability and silly teenage pranks. This situation is unclear and unresolved. Mark is not some statistic, he’s our friend and family. We want to find him. Keep your comments positive until we do. Please God today!
