Woman arrested over fatal apartment fire in Cork

Two men died in the fire at an apartment complex in Mallow last week.

A WOMAN AGED aged in her 20s has been arrested by gardaí investigating a fatal fire at an apartment complex in Mallow, Co Cork, last week.

The woman was arrested this afternoon in Cork City and is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984, at Mallow Garda Station.

Two men died in the fire, which broke out in the apartment complex at Granary Court, Mallow, Co Cork just after midnight on the 13 March 2014.

Two other people, a man and a woman, were rescued from the scene.
