Brooklyn artist Ariana Page Russell was born with an illness that makes her skin red and swollen when it’s touched (or when anything happens to it at all, really). At first ashamed by it, she instead decided to begin taking photographs of her own skin, creating an artwork of her own body, and inspiring other people with the same condition to do likewise – and there’s something weirdly compelling about the ensuing pictures. What’s wrong with just making the phone call instead of an auld message….
But then you have to talk to people and that is the worst. And you might get stuck talking to them when really you just want to go and play some more Call of Duty.

Seriously, Why list a bunch of apps that everyone already knows about?
An actually interesting new app I’ve been using is called “Dingaling” (stupid name, awesome concept). It lets you phone and message 100% free to tons of countries around the world and the person you contact doesn’t need to have the app, unlike most (all?) of the above listed apps.
Ild like to know which of these is actually secure, i know skype and whatsapp arent for a start.
