OVER HERE AT TheJournal.ie headquarters we get sent some really random stuff via email.
Some of it is hilarious. Some of it is heartbreaking.
While more of it is, well, just plain weird.
Since we started doing this post last year, you all copped on and started sending in even more weird sh*te, as well as some wonderful shots.
So here’s a look at some of the surprises we got when we opened our inboxes over the past few weeks. Keep ‘em coming.
Majella O’Dwyer Rock sent us this amazing photo of some Irish dancing in Killlarney. Keep it up Majella.
Sharon Kiernan made us laugh when she exclaimed: “I’m going to have to look at this guy staring in at me every time I go downstairs. Make him go away …..please…….”
Just four weeks to go Sharon….
Eagle eyed Eimear Coll noticed a slight mistake in a newspaper this week.
And then she made another one.

RTE is desperate to get the weather forecast correct. It has taken to predicting last months weather, still got it wrong.
“Great to see the positive support after the recent vandalism and graffiti,” says a reader. People in the area of the Liam Whelan Bridge have added even more football jerseys to the memorial. Read more about that story here.
“Our resident Hazel House donkey smiling for the camera in the recent sunshine!” says the Rathfarnham-based business.
We’re pretty sure gardaí are allowed eat icecream but one reader wasn’t happy at this sight:
Guards on Oliver plunkett street cork eating ice cream and talking while in full uniform!
“I think the view from Elmgreen golf course looked pretty nice today!”
Agreed.
Only on Good Friday in Ireland would you see this…

They are evil and a plan needs to be put in place to reduce their numbers. They’re a massive problem in many coastal cities, not just Dublin.

Try living with one if their nests 10 yards across from your bedroom window, like I do. Now that the sun rises earlier they start screeching at about four… Hell on earth.

There is a guard here that goes to the bookies in uniform during work hours. Must try get a pic of him and send it in.
I go to the bank and other places in my uniform maybe you want my picture too. God forbid if I’m talking too.
Pity u don’t make any arrests while your in the bank!
Would have to be a citizens arrest. My uniform is a suit.
Re the Banners I think it more the parking, great promo for responsible parking and the reason why they could not catch a cold if they had to give chase on foot. Bit hard to respect the force !!!!!!
Get a grip of yourself. So two people working a ten hour shift stop for probably all of 2 mins to get an ice cream on what looks like a warm day. Oh the humanity. This wouldn’t be mentioned or noticed if it was any other working professional. And the the sly across the street snap is pathetic too
