LEGENDARY SINGER-SONGWRITER PAUL Simon and his wife, singer Edie Brickell, were arrested over the weekend for disorderly conduct at their Connecticut home, police have confirmed today.
Police in New Canaan, Connecticut, said they went to Simon’s home on Saturday night to “investigate a family dispute.”
The 72-year-old Simon and the 48-year-old Brickell were arrested and released. Both are expected to appear before a judge later today.
Simon is a 12-time Grammy winner who shot to stardom as half of the duo Simon and Garfunkel, which produced hits like “Bridge Over Troubled Water” and “Mrs. Robinson.”
The duo broke up in 1971, and Simon embarked on a solo career. He has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, both as a member of the duo and as a solo artist.
Brickell, a folk rock singer born in Texas, married Simon in 1992. The couple have three children.

Well no massive increase after the opening up which is good news, it should be showing by now if there was, it was the right decision so.

As per Michael McGrath TD, going by his rule of thumb that 35% at most in hospital in due to CV19. So 213 in hospital is what the report should say. Also currently no one in ICU due to CV19 and even at its worst was less that 2%. Again scaremongering.

@Andy O’B: Delta mainly. It’s been said time and time again. Many could be there weeks or months , also another huge number that have been there last while very likely in there already for unrelated causes and were unfortunate enough to catch covid in hospital. There’s also the fact the a certain percentage are unvaccinated, they are probably in there since catching Delta.too. not to spread misinformation or anything but from what I can gather even in unvaccinated, omricron alone would unlikely put someone in ICU unless there were other very serious multiple other risk factors a person had
It’s actually 609 in hospital.
