The Milestone Hotel: $US580 per night

These are some seriously fancy (and ridiculously pricey) London hotels

Here are the twenty most expensive in the city.

LONDON IS THE most expensive city in the world, so it’s no surprise that its hotels are also pricey.

At the prices that some of them will go for, you expect them to throw in a few mod-cons and soft furnishings.

Hotels.com have put together an this list of the 20 most expensive hotels in London, based on base-level room rates.

These hotels may cost a lot, but hey, don’t we all deserve marble bathrooms, scheduled tea times, and butler service once in a while?

(Yes. We do.)

Me too, most of them just appear to be trying too hard for the “opulent” look.. That one of the bedroom in the article photo is just rotten..
I would put it on a par with entering a room where all the furnishings were leopard print..

Bulgari, The Ritz, & 47 park street all come under Marriott flag… I worked in their Reservations centre for 3 years & you would get the most annoying customers looking for cheap room rates in these hotels & expect breakfast thrown in then for free… So blooming annoying they were considering only the very wealthy would stay there & then want freebies…

Would these be classed as boutique hotels? Heard of a developer speculator from West Cork that bought several upmarket hotels similar to these a few years ago.
