GARDAÍ ARE INVESTIGATING the fifth carjacking in a month in Dublin.
The latest incident occurred on Windmill Road in Crumlin shortly before midnight on Saturday.
A man stopped a car that was travelling down the road, threatening the driver.
Once the car was stationary, two other men approached and demanded cash from the driver.
Gardaí say the driver escaped from the vehicle and ran to Crumlin Garda Station, located just around the corner.
He was uninjured in the incident and no arrests have yet been made.
Anyone with information can contact Crumlin Garda Station on 01 666 6200, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any garda station.
Earlier this month, a man was arrested after hijacking the car of a pregnant woman close to Mountjoy Square.
A man was charged in connection with hijacking of a car containing a mother and her two children in a seperate incident in Terenure.
