3. #SMOKES: Ireland will become the first country in the EU to introduce plain packaging on cigarette packets, the health minister has announced. Cigarette companies have said they will be taking legal action against the move.
4.MANX2: A survivor of an aircrash at Cork Airport has told an inquest that she feared she would be burned alive in the wreckage. Two pilots and four passengers died in the 2011 incident.
5. #WHOOPS: The Houses of Oireachtas has appeared on the Revenue’s list of tax defaulters. PAYE/PRSI was undeclared to the tune of some €333,412.

Ah, one of the pigs didn’t appear on the image on our app. I’ll fix that now, I wouldn’t want to keep a pig from anyone.
