IARNRÓD ÉIREANN SAYS that a late-night train derailment was caused by vandalism.
A Dart train came off the tracks late last night after hitting rocks along the line near Bray Head, causing the line between Dublin and Rosslare to close this morning. Around 1,500 people were affected.
The line has now reopened, with Iarnród Éireann saying that the train had hit a boulder outside a tunnel near Bray. Though there were 33 passengers and a driver on board, nobody was injured.
“Two bogies (sets of wheels) on the four-carriage train came off the track as a result. Thankfully, there were no injuries on board amongst the 33 customers and driver.
“It is believed that this incident was caused by vandalism.”
They apologised for the inconvenience caused and asked anyone with information to contact gardaí.

For a Sika to end up on the DART line he must be blind! Clearly has no-eye deer where he is.
