1. TRIBUTES are pouring in for former taoiseach Albert Reynolds who passed away in the early hours of this morning after a long illness. He was 81 years old.
Our obituary remembers him as a dealer, risk taker and peace maker. But a singer too?
2. FOUR children are among the dead in Gaza today as Israeli strikes continue, with commentary from the area saying the attacks have been “stepped up”.
3. GREAT news for people who love flying Ryanair (!). The airline has just announced a spate of new routes across Europe.
Oh, and Michael O’Leary expects Luke ‘Ming’ Flanagan and his friends to fly Ryanair back to their home counties to spend all their MEP euros.
4. In more sad news today, BBC broadcaster Gerry Anderson has died, aged 69.
5. Were you watching the Rose of Tralee on Tuesday? No? Well, half the people watching TV in Ireland were.
