IRELAND’S SKIES GIVETH… and they taketh away.
We noted the glowing start to the day and asked to share your pics of what it was like where you are.

And things looked equally bright in Corbo, Kilrooskey, Roscommon, where Michelle Fallon snapped this, telling us, “Oh, what a beautiful morning!”

But, as per our recent grey spell, it didn’t translate to a sunny morning. As Colm Gillen reported to us from the Stillorgan Road outside Dublin at 7.30am…
And to put that in context… Yup, cloudy with a chance of drizzle.

Wow the sunrises were amazing!
Worst August that I can remember in years, although because we had a good July all of those Irish people who think a good Summer is two weeks of sun, are still proclaiming it as one of the best summers ever.
