Your beautiful sunrise start to the day...

…well, that didn’t last long, did it?

IRELAND’S SKIES GIVETH… and they taketh away.

We noted the glowing start to the day and asked to share your pics of what it was like where you are.

Keith Hicks took an early walk on Portmarnock beach in Dublin:

And things looked equally bright in Corbo, Kilrooskey, Roscommon, where Michelle Fallon snapped this, telling us, “Oh, what a beautiful morning!”

Derek Sludds caught the sunrise through a monkey puzzle tree:

But, as per our recent grey spell, it didn’t translate to a sunny morning. As Colm Gillen reported to us from the Stillorgan Road outside Dublin at 7.30am…

And to put that in context… Yup, cloudy with a chance of drizzle.

Tom, I dunno what I’m saying. All I know is, it’s getting cloudier and I’m getting paler by the day. I’m scared.
