Now you can officially find out how (un)popular you are on Twitter

The site has opened up its analytics service to all users so now you can see how well (or badly) your tweets are doing.

IF YOU’RE THE kind of person who obsesses over how well your tweets do, or wondered how many people see your tweets, you’re in luck.

Twitter has opened up its analytics service to all users, allowing them to see how all of their tweets have performed and provides a breakdown of those who follow them.

So stats like engagement rate, link clicks, retweets, favourites, and replies all feature here as well as the times people saw your tweet.

Due to the nature of Twitter, most tweets are usually seen within the first hour, although retweets and mentions can help extend their lifespan.

Twitter analytics tweet Twitter analytics Twitter analytics

But it’s handier for discovering more about your followers, like what tweets and topics they find interesting, as well as their demographics

Breakdown Twitter analytics Twitter analytics

The main purpose of analytics is usually for businesses to figure out which tweets did well and encourage them to improve what they’re doing or invest in sponsored tweets, but as a snapshot, it’s worth looking at for curiosity’s sake.

So long as you’re signed in to you Twitter account, you can access your analytics here.

And yet some people like to label Ireland a “catholic country”.

The first people in Ireland believed other things and these beliefs pre-date Christian and Catholic beliefs by many thousands of years.

@Barry Somers: Well obviously but this isn’t new information that has suddenly come to light. The Christians replaced /rebranded the existing solstice festivals with Christmas and Easter. We have holly and ivy at Christmas because the pagans believed it had magical properties because it managed to stay green during the Winter.

@Sean: And ‘Christmas’ on December 25th is also a dud because there’s no reference in the bible that tells when Christ was born. Like many other ‘discoveries’, Constantine and his gang took the 25th from the pagans as it was around this time that the sun and winter solsctice were celebrated. The new gang thought it would be a great idea to take that day – lack of creativity on their part that perhaps shows there was no proof of a miracle worker Jesus Christ, especially since Jesus was a common name at the time, and there was another Jesus claiming to be a rather special miracle man.
