Hundreds of free events, tours, talks and performances are taking place…
But will you be at one of them? Or will you stick to the tried-and-tested Irish tradition of post-work pints, and a late-night takeaway?

To be fair there is a great atmosphere around dublin on culture night.
I think it should be culture day for those people who are off during the day and can actually visit. Last year it was a nightmare the queues for anywhere took away from the atmosphere. There are to many places to visit in short space of time that you end up only visiting like 3 places because the queues.
There’s just no pleasing some people.

I like culture night, it’s great to see where the art council wastes money
Every night should be culture night- unfortunately our crap galleries and museums are shut most of the time, and bookshops are closed by 6pm.
I think I’ll hop on a plane to the Tate.
I love Culture Night and I will be working at one of the venues myself but will definitely be heading to the pub after.
