While some are happy with what was given to them, many feel they will be worse off when the whole equation is taken into account.
Of course, the whole thing dominates the front pages (along with John O’Shea, naturally).

The Irish Times and Irish Examiner see the Budget as a marker of things to come
The Mirror, Independent and Herald all take the line that while some was given, as much or more was taken away
The Star sees it as a “payback” Budget, but the Mail calls it electioneering
And The Sun just wants you to “Be Happy”
Internationally, the closing of the “Double Irish” loophole made headlines – unsurprisingly many were in America
