Kate and Wills pictured with their first child last year. Dominic Lipinski/Press Association

Due date for second royal baby announced

The child is expected in April next year.

THE DUE DATE for the second child of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge has been announced as April 2015.

The news, confirmed by Kensington Palace, also states that the duchess was still suffering from hyperemisis gravidarum – but that her condition is “steadily improving”.

Hyperemesis gravidarum is a serious pregnancy complication that can see sufferers experience severe weight loss as well as frequent vomiting throughout the day.

Tomorrow the duchess is set to make her first public appearance since the announcement of her pregnancy last month. She will be greeting President of Singapore Tony Tan and his wife as they embark on a short visit to the United Kingdom.

She will also be attending the Wildlife Photographer of the Year awards ceremony at the Natural History Museum.

The couple’s first child Prince George was born in July last year.

@Fred Claus: that only applies if you hate your job. I’m not going to say I love my job because I don’t. I love my family. I do like my job though. The only problem with it is the Santry to Sandyford trip. The M50 kills it. And not only that, paying to use it is worse. I do have an option though. Leave earlier and go through the city centre but not have breakfast with my kids. It’s the sacrifice I’ve to make. To get back onto your point though. Give up your job and get one closer to home. Well like I said above, I like my job. Problem is, it is specialised in that there are only two companies that do my line of work and both companies a based in south county Dublin.

You’ll find other road users quite enjoy it and soon enough the whole motorway will join in! It’ll make time fly!

If you have more substance to add go ahead and write something yourself – there are no specific qualifications required – just write your thoughts down on paper and send it in. Sitting there complaining that others aren’t qualified to write what they write can be a great motivator to get up off your backside and do a better job

@6ljJQRRU: James you’re talking utter rubbish. Ireland has a low population density. Dublin and the east coast also has a low population density. Dublin, in European and world terms, has barely the scale to be called a capital city. The modern world is based on scale not dispersion. Your proposed remedy, to scatter more industry around the country, was tried. It failed. It failed because modern industry thrives on scale. We don’t need to disperse Dublin. We need to build it up and plan better. We also need to build up some other cities in Ireland.

Ireland’s problem has always been a failure to plan properly. And this is rooted in the lie that you can live in splendid rural isolation and have it all. You can’t. Ireland needs to create scale and not live in la la land.

    1) the sadists at the DCC do everything in their power to prevent highrise residential buildings -> people are forced to live outside Dublin.
    2) the same DDC pr!cks have no problem whatsoever in allowing the building highrise office buildings in the city center -> chokes the city traffic even more, as people need to drive from outside of Dublin into the very city center.
    3) to make things even worse, DCC also does its best to slow the traffic even more by introducing ridiculous speed limits and closing down anywhere from 33% to 66% of traffic current lanes. Less lanes + lower speed with ALWAYS equal to heavier traffic.
    4) the drivers are also a great bunch who just enjoy jamming on the brakes for no good reason.
Dont like being stuck in traffic? How about you just stop kicking that brake pedal the second you see 5 drops of rain or an accident on the opposite side of the road?

Since DCC has done such a great job in slowing the traffic through the city, this causes a domino effect everywhere else.

Traffic management at the ESB (capacity) works … lights never go dim!
Traffic management works in Telecoms … calls and internet data always get through
Traffic management at air traffic control works ….

Why cant NRA and LAs learn from these engineers. Maybe outsource the job to the ESB

Maybe the culture needs changing .. “let them wait ’till we get the big relief job done” .. no effort to alleviate the problem …
