Another rail melt-down in Dublin: Passengers left in limbo for the second night in a row

All DART and commuter services have been halted, due to a major signal problem between Drogheda and Greystones.

DART AND COMMUTER services have been suspended in the Dublin area between Drogheda and Greystones for the second night in a row.

Irish Rail has just issued the following update to passengers:

Major signal fault Drogheda to Greystones area: all Dart & Commuter services currently stopped. Update ASAP. Dublin Bus accepting rail tkts

Services were eventually restored last night, and trains recommenced with delays before 7pm.

Frustrated passengers have been letting Irish Rail have it with both barrels on Twitter this evening, as a result…
