One Direction and Ed Sheeran among stars to re-record 'Do they know it's Christmas?'

The charity single will go towards the fight against Ebola.

STARS INCLUDING ONE Direction, Ed Sheeran, Paloma Faith and Coldplay’s Chris Martin have signed up to re-record charity single “Do They Know It’s Christmas?” with proceeds going to the battle against Ebola.

Bob Geldof, who founded the Band Aid movement behind the original 1984 recording, said today he had been inspired by the bravery of volunteer medical staff fighting the disease in West Africa.

He said the song, featuring “giants of the past” and younger artists, would be recorded Saturday and should be available to download 17 November. The physical single will feature artwork by Tracey Emin.

Dotty is probably referring to the trials for the TGN1412 drug. In 2006 four men were seriously ill in hospital after taking part in the trial. They had multiple organ failure and some of them lost parts of their fingers.

Unfortunatley it happens, so they entice you with 3000-4000 pound.
I am thinking about doing one but cases like this make you think twice.

Check out what Professor of Psychiatry David Healy had to say recently in his Lecture at Trinity College about the clinical trials of “anti-depressants”. It seems the results of negative trials are hidden. There is a podcast on this page. http://www.nursing-midwifery.tcd.ie/events-conferences/events-schedule/

Because I got the label Bipolar while on an “anti-depressant”/SSRI (for panic disorder) I do have question marks over drugs that mess around with a person’s brain chemistry. The “chemical imbalance” theory has never been proven but lots of people are going on about it. There are other ways of dealing with Depression. Never stop any medication cold turkey, without consulting your doctor, due to the dangers of withdrawal symptoms.
