The cowardice of these Islamic thugs is truly pathetic. Their chosen targets are such as unarmed, defenceless children in a school in Pakistan, unsuspecting coffee-drinkers in a cafe in Sydney and, just today, unarmed, unsuspecting journalists in an office in Paris. These Muslim terrorists would run a mile from a set-piece battle against a prepared opponent, as they regularly do when faced with such opponents in the deserts of the Middle East in years gone by.

They are complete cowards. They’ll kill unarmed civilians in surprise attacks but then desert their front-lines en masse when faced with an organised Western army.

The cult of Scientology has religious status in the USA.Luckily Ireland doesn’t entertain it as a tax free religion but if it somehow were to get religious status here should we accept the clearly batshit crazy teachings of it and don’t dare challenge or offend it? Especially under threats of legal and possibly other actions?

I’ve said this for a long time on the journal “STOP PANDERING TO RELIGION”

Unfortunately plenty of people are ignorant to the central theme of Islam (Domination)
and pander thinking let’s not encroach on religious beliefs sorry but what about when religious beliefs encroach human rights?

In the age of digital communication and information pleading ignorance is not an acceptable defence. The same people with warped ideologies would use our tolerance and acceptance and fair mindedness as a shield against us in one hand whilst using the other hand to supplant our laws with Islamic Sharia law.

Before I get attacked by apologists ask do you agree with the penalty for apostasy? (Death).

Do you agree women should be subjugated and denied human rights in Islamic countries?

Do nonbelievers get fair treatment in Saudi Arabia? (No automatically called terrorists)

As a country and a society we need to have a talk about Islam because if we don’t well things could deteriorate very quickly.Until we learn to view our follow Humans as Human beings we’ll be open to attack from people who surrender reason for madness!

People lay off Aoife, she is just doing her job.

Aoife today there was an attack on a media publication in Paris by an armed group in an effort to silence our media. If the comments section is genuinely closed for the reason you specified then fair enough. If not thank you for the articles I have read for free and commented on over the past year but on principle you have lost a reader.

In addition I just had a comment deleted above which just linked to a blog that was originally published four years ago – already in the public domain, factual and without offensive language etc.. You are mistaken. I have seen comments on many articles in The Journal.ie that were not hateful, were factual but presented views based on facts which went against the liberal media bias, and these sorts of comments sometimes I find them missing when going back to an article. The main articles which The Journal.ie finds sensitive in this regard are multicult type articles or articles to do with the holocaust, mass immigration or Islam. For every comment that is sensible and based in fact with no hate toward others but a frank and robust discussion of the issue, then you store up a resentment of the people against the liberal bias you wish to push. If you think I am wrong, then look at Europe and see how their media in concert with multicult NGO’s, secularists and far-leftists have rendered their country’s hostile territories to the natives, and see the rising backlash of resentment. Ireland will follow, we are simply a few years behind, you have been given fair warning of the trends that are to come resulting from a stifling media that does not serve the people.

Dr Ali Selim can get all the advice he likes but the advice will be the same as I’m giving for free.
Because of the precedent set in Corway v Independent Newspapers you would have no cause of action.
I will be extremely disappointed with our press if they do NOT reprint cartoons depicting Islams prophet tomorrow. The laws we have apply to ALL religions (as set out in Quinn Supermarkets v Attorney General & reaffirmed in the Corway case). It is NOT an equal or pluralist society if we yield to the sensitivities of one particular religion over all others.
