Look up: You've two weeks to see a glowing green comet

Comet Lovejoy is paying a visit.

Updated 10pm

SPACE Comet PA PA

A GLOWING GREEN comet is set to be visible in our skies for the new two weeks.

Comet Lovejoy Q2 was discovered in August last year, and although visible in the skies for a few days now, a full moon has made it hard to spot.

It is the fifth discovered by Terry Lovejoy, who has previously spotted similar comets.

The comet reached its peak earlier this week and will be at its brightest over the next two weeks with the waning moon.

If you miss it, hard luck: You won’t be able to see it again for another 8,000 years.

However, don’t expect a dramatic show. You’ll need a pair of binoculars or a small telescope to get a good look, although its green-ish tint should be visible even through light pollution.

By using Orion’s Belt and Sword as a reference point, you should be able to find it, at around 8.30pm.

Now all we have to is hope it says clear (and all going to plan, that might just happen).

The ‘church’ sign looks like a Bureau de Change. Cheques made payable to Creflo Dollar. Peace.

I often wonder why I don’t start my own ministry. I could certainly do with a bigger house, more cars and a swiss watch. Wait, I think god just spoke to me. . . . . . $$$$$
