Like snow? Hate snow? Doesn't matter, there's still 5cm on the way

Wrap up warm.

IF YOU’RE HOPING for a break in the cold weather, and have avoided breaking out the snow boots and thermals, hard luck.

Met Éireann is forecasting another week of chilly conditions, with as much as 5cm of snow predicted to fall overnight on Tuesday. Temperatures in Ulster could fall to -7C in snowy areas.

giphy Giphy.com Giphy.com

yellow alert is in place for this evening, as temperatures plunge against to as low as -5C.

There’s also some bad news for drivers:

Untreated road surfaces and paths will accumulate ice, becoming very slippy and dangerous. Patches of freezing fog may also occur.

It’s predicted that the temperatures might warm on Friday, but not before more snow on Wednesday and wintery showers at points throughout the week.

But sure look, this kind of weather can throw up some spectacular sights.

Sad thing is Tom that when it snows in dear old Ireland , life moves at an unbelievably slow pace due to motorways and main roads not ploughed and schools closed because there’s a few cm of snow. Snow may be beautiful to look at, but I went off it for life in 2010.
