MRS BROWN BOYS won Best Comedy Show at the National Television Awards in Britain last night.
Jennifer Gibney and Brendan O’Carroll picked up the award at the O2 Arena in London.
It comes after the TV show was listed as the second most viewed programme in the UK on Christmas Day- beaten only by the Queen.
Mrs Brown Boys D’Movie was also listed as the highest-grossing release of the year in Ireland last year – netting over €3.8million.
Ms Brown even appeared on the stage last night and had a chat with Graham Norton:

The awards also saw I’m a Celebrity…Get me Out of Here! named as top entertainment programme and Ant and Dec won the best entertainment presenter trophy.
Coronation Street actress, Anne Kirkbride, got a special mention at the awards after she died from cancer on Monday.
Her co-star William Roache, who plays Ken, paid a touching tribute to the actress.
He said: “I feel so blessed, honoured and privileged to have had those years working with Anne.
What we’ll remember the most is the vibrant, warm-hearted, loving person who came to work each day, gave us all a hug and brightened up our lives.
He added: “I love you, Anne. Thank you.”

Are we so blind that we fall for this lie again ? Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Syria . etc completely destroyed with over one million murdered and six million people displaced, many of whom seek refuge in Europe. Today the US. and UK supplying weapons worth billions of dollars to Saudi Arabia to destroy Yemen. The next wave of refugees are practically on their way. If the countries of the ME bombed the sh*t of European countries to the same degree, we would also no doubt have our share of terrorist activities.

Some cities and towns in Germany are cancelling their fireworks displays because they fear that the noise and lights will frighten people from former war zones. Why are you so fixated with where people are from? One of the lowest forms of arguing is questioning the credibility of someone’s point of view based on them personally. It’s almost as if you’re saying logic can only be applied and worthy of you engaging in genuine debate if it’s coming from someone of proven Irish heritage who has supplied you with their PPS number and a DNA sample. Regardless of someone’s username you should be able to argue with them point for point based on what they actually have said, not just question their credibility.

It is a plain fact that the higher the proportion of the demographic that follow Islam the more problems you get and less freedom.
The evidence is everywhere for those that will see-

Sweden, the new home of anti-semitism and the rape capital of Europe. The Swede’s have given away their country and welfare state in a moral crusade to admit any and all migrants from across the Middle East.
Germany, just wait and see. Merkel herself said ‘Multicultralism is a fraud, it leads to parallel societies’; and that on a much more gradual scale…. What could possibly go wrong admitting over a million in a year from the ideological home of the most virulent and toxic ideology on the planet today. Leaked documents show the police there fear they can register less than 10% of those admitted. Merkel has sowned the seeds of strife for her country and we’ve seen how terrible that can be before.

That is quite an eye opener, thanks for that Andrea. Looking down the road, unless we shake of the Human Rights Acts, which is unfair ,it is one sided only. What about our Human rights? We need our own set of Human Right Acts, which cover protecting our country and its citizens. We have been reduced to “little ants” of Europe, and must do as we are told.

So Brussels has cancelled New Year celebrations! As for the French! I despair of the European/NATO/US efforts to deal with these threats that they have helped create in the first place. While the enemy is very focussed and committed you can see clearly on news outlets the “western steel” in dealing with these threats. First we have Brussels in lockdown, people confined to in doors, yet the “elite” soldiers patrolling the streets are doing their Christmas shopping – I kid you not. In one of the bunkers in the areas most at risk we have soldiers and police having sex parties – I am sure that is what is meant by “probing” the enemy. The EU and our useless govt would give the security of our borders to these boffins in the French and Belgium military. Our boy/girl scouts would be more effective in fighting an enemy which is totally committed to its cause, who will blow themselves up to take as many of us as they can. Yet Western armies and security forces are full of jobworths who would run at the first sign of trouble, NATO would have you beleive they are the cutting edge – they are utterly useless and maintain poor oversight of what is a crumbling shambolic security apparatus. Europe is not able to deal with this on a societal or security level, its populations are generally apathetic. So tonight I hope for a peaceful 2016 and I hope Ireland wakes up and sees that it has no place in a Europe with the likes of France, Belgium, Netherlands or Germany and if the UK leaves Europe we should throw our lot in with them because realistically they are the only ones capable of defending us.

The best article I have ever read about the delema the West faces over it’s ever growing Muslim population is by Douglas Murray in the Spectator. It points out the real difficulties faced by policy makers as they try, very very slowly to face up to their responsibilities.
