ROYAL CARIBBEAN HAS launched a virtual tour of one of its newest cruise ships in a partnership with Google Street View.
Quantum of the Seas is one of the most advanced ships on earth, and it will cruise in the Caribbean this spring before heading to the South China Sea in the fall.
It has a bumper-car track, a cocktail bar staffed by robots, and a skydiving simulator.

Cruising is a great way to see the world have been on 3 so far
For me a cruise ship is like a prison with the option of drowning.
If that one is anything to go by I wouldn’t say you see much of the world (the real world, culture etc). It’d nearly be the same to stay at home and visit a leisure park and them go to a pub.
I’m like you, I’m “terrified” of going on a cruise, especially if I got stuck with the ship’s bore.
Cruising is one of the best value for money holidays going, we have done loads .its not only for the rich even us pensioners can do them

Enjoy MK, I cruised with them two years ago and it was amazing, without a doubt some of the best food I have eaten, if you’re having a tough time choosing between three main courses that have caught your eye, worry not, the waiting staff will insist you have all three, exceptional service

Yes cruises are relatively cheap due to the fact that approx 2-3,000 other passengers will be sharing the trip with you a cruise all food and drink approx €1,500
An 8 night cruise would cost about €1100 excluding flights. But with the deals you can get from Royal Caribbean, that can be all inclusive, including meals, entertainment and drink. It’s all relative I suppose – 7 nights in a good hotel would cost you the same but you would have to feed yourself and pay for drinks.

Not exactly cheap holidays, but something worth saving for
I’m out $7,500 for a first cruise in March… It worked out well with timing being 6 out of 11 days off work and a cheap flight on airmiles one way to catch the boat so made it ‘cheap’ for us given time off work is an expensive sacrifice but there was some sticker shock….
Especially since they took the final $4,000 payment at the end of December. Real bad timing with Xmas.

Didn’t realise I was an Irish politician. With some shrewd financial planning many people could afford a cruise.
