Fine Gael has been throwing serious shade at Gerry Adams on Twitter

Warning: It involves a book that may cause some readers to shudder.

FINE GAEL HAS again attacked Gerry Adams’ maths skills, poking fun at the Sinn Féin leader on Twitter.

A post on the Fine Gael’s Twitter page promoted the fact that the Taoiseach was taking part in a Q&A session with new party members yesterday.

Sinn Féin later asked if Enda Kenny answered any questions or just kept “waffling until he ran out of time à la Leaders Questions?”

Sinn Féin: 1; Fine Gael: 0.

However, the senior Government party was quick to take the opportunity to poke fun at Gerry Adams’ maths skills:

On Monday night, Adams made a bit of a gaffe on Claire Byrne Live. During a debate with Tánaiste Joan Burton, he said scrapping the property tax would cost about €5 million, rather than €500 million.

Sinn Féin has now responded, claiming Kenny could do with brushing up on his own numbers skills:

Last week, Adams told fellow deputies in the Dáil: “I’m not great at maths.”

A statement quickly seized on by political opponents:

Can’t we all just get along?

Fine Gael dishes out a deep burn to Gerry Adams

Gerry Adams just got the better of Joan Burton on last night’s Claire Byrne Live

That’s the ‘average industrial wage’ apparently.

Sinn Fein Dail members have to hand over the balance of their salary to the party coffers, like Scientologists.

Not quite. Some keep all their book earnings, dinner speech proceeds and other perks for themselves, as they’ve earned it. As distinct from Sinn Fein Dail members.

Forgive me for pointing out the blindingly obvious, but surely the people who need to be handy with numbers are Sinn Feins finance guy Pearse Doherty, and the people in the Department of Finance who supply Sinn Fein with the Figures for their Budget Submissions?

I’d be more concerned if Adams didn’t have the skills required for leadership and diplomacy, which he has displayed in spades during his career

Murdering people Colin? Quick, inform the authorities and bring forth your evidence to substantiate such a statement. The truth of the matter is Gerry Adams is a fine politician and negotiator who helped bring about sustained peace after decades of bloodshed. He is not one in which i could see bending over to Merkel/ECB and co or happily smiling away as Sarcozy rubs his head. At the very least its nice to see him engage in rather than dodge debate, unlike our Taoiseach who is nothing more than a mortifying, spineless, incompetent sell out.

So they have effectively launched an un-costed entity – which they are running hard to keep up with, costing and staffing wise. And this is no small matter, the costings the government have yet to finalise could well bring the whole rotten edifice crashing down around ‘Paddys’ ears. Some people like to make economics out to be complicated, so that they can try an rip you off while telling you its for your own good and you wouldn’t understand. This has been F.G’s mantra since they took office. But economics is simple if you take the money off the poor people, they have nothing to spend, this in turn leaves the people who are supplying them with nothing to spend, tradespeople, shopkeepers etc. it becomes a vicious circle wages fall as profits fall.
Finegael and labour not only robbed the poor but they then gave the money away to the rich. It would be hard to believe if you didn’t know that they are in one big circle with the rich and elite

However ,once the detail was revealed and the initial evidence was exposed as lies from the banks, ,Sinn Féin subsequently withdrew that initial support and voted against the bill ratifying the Guarantee, some weeks later. They have been against it ever since

You just said right before I posted that, that SF was the only party that voted against it. Now you have a different excuse. That sums up my apathy to the whole political system in our country every last politician in the country is in it for the money. They backed it, the vote was final how can they withdraw a vote after its called? If that’s the case I withdraw my vote for labour from 2011. All the same full of Sheeit!

Sinn Fein are already proven to be scientifically illiterate because they have a policy to stop the Fluoridation of water and repeal the Law of Gravity because they don’t understand them. There is NO scientific or medical body agrees with removing Fluoridation but presumably most SF members left school before they learned basic Chemistry as well as basic Maths.

So we should forget the evil deeds of the organisation who murdered gardai and other Irish citizens.

    The are now peacemakers.

Just like a rapist who stops raping, an arsonist who stops burning or a thief who stops thieving, they should be praised for stopping what they were doing.
