432 Park Avenue - the tallest residential building in the world.

Poll: Would you be happy to live in a high-rise building?

Movin’ on up?

RENTAL PRICES ARE going up and there aren’t very many places to rent even if you can afford it.

Economist Ronan Lyons yesterday told TheJournal.ie that Irish people need to accept smaller, high-rise apartments in cities, particularly Dublin.

However, there has long been a perception that Irish people don’t want to go sky-high.

We’re asking: Would you be happy to live in a high-rise building?

Poll Results:

Yes - but only in a city centre (4317)
No (3015)
Yes (1654)
I don't know (218)

Read: Dubliners need to embrace small high-rise apartments if they want cheaper rents

Feighan: “I have the right to defend myself. I have the right to defend the Taoiseach.”

Kind of puts his so-called ‘apology’ in context.

I have a felling the only thing Feighan is genuinely sorry about is that he didn’t check to see if the camera was on him before he assaulted an elderly man.

Women dying in maternity units because of some hokus pokus primitive belief system forbids medical care for women during pregnancy.

I am usually simply too lazy to comment on articles that appear here, but this one takes the biscuit!

Who the hell does this paid public servant Mr Feighan think he is?

Feighan: “I have the right to defend myself. I have the right to defend the Taoiseach.”

Then go and do what any forward thinking person should do, set up a cordoned off area, which clearly highlights to all bystanders what area of the vicinity they may and may not populate. It’s not rocket science!

Instead we see a self-appointed “Chief Rambo of Roscommon “ in full swing!

I watched the video several times., It is clear that Mr. McDermott´s positioning on the footpath in relation to the passenger door of the car was better timed, which clearly resulted in nothing more than a bully boy outburst, unbecoming of a person holding a current TD position in Dáil Eireann.

We all make mistakes and no one is perfect, but we can all have the common decency to know when a mistake was made and make applicable amends
