What's the best thing you could do with a caravan? Electric Picnic wants to know

Get out that mood board.

ELECTRIC PICNIC WANT you to get creative with a caravan and design something incredible.

The organisers are offering up grants for people with great ideas and the deadline is just a month away.

‘Trailer Park’ saw its first year in 2014 and attracted some 120 applications from designers across the country.

They have even offered some advice for design enthusiasts: “We are looking for projects that stand on their own as installations, independent of performance or activities, although these may well accompany and complete the installations.

The key word to consider is INTERACTIVE. They need to be about the design of the exterior, and think about lighting design as the area operates at night as well as daytime.

So a caravan just sitting there looking pretty isn’t going to cut it – your wheels need to offer some sort of entertainment.

Don’t have a caravan? That is but a minor setback that organisers say they can help with.

Submissions for your masterpiece can be made here. The closing date for the competition March 18 at 11.59am.
