Three judges have been sacked for watching porn in their offices

Not a great idea, to be fair.

THREE JUDGES IN Britain have been sacked for watching pornography in their offices.

The three were officially removed from their jobs today following an investigation into the allegation that they had all viewed pornographic material via their official IT accounts.

A spokesperson for the Judicial Conduct Investigations Office, which carried out the investigation, said that the material did not include images of children or any other illegal content.

“This was an inexcusable misuse of their judicial IT accounts and wholly unacceptable conduct for a judicial office holder,” the spokesperson said.

The three were named as Timothy Bowles, a district court judge, Warren Grant, an immigration judge, and Peter Bullock, a deputy district court judge.

A fourth judge was also found to have viewed similar inappropriate material in his office and was due to be sacked but resigned before the conclusion of the disciplinary process.

The spokesperson said that the judges were not linked in any way.

Call me old fashioned but I’d much rather they relieved themselves in perfectly natural ways like this than keep it in until they end up finding inappropriate outlet for their pent-up frustrations, like some priests did.

I think they could have kept it in until they went home though. Work isn’t really the place.

Compare this to what happened here when a judge was ALLEGEDLY (for libel purposes) caught with child porn images on a personal computer…lots of foot dragging until he amassed enough ‘service’ to obtain a pension.

    Nope.

It’s just almost impossible to remove a judge.

It was done with the best will in the world to isolate them from political pressure, but it’s incredible that it also protects them when they very much should be sacked.

The ‘error’ was that the search warrant lasts for 7 days from the date of the warrant. The Trial Judge decided that 7 days does not mean 7 consecutive periods of 24 hrs but means 7 calender days. So if you got a search warrant at 1pm on monday it would expire at 23.59hrs on the following Sunday.

Well that ain’t gonna happen here. We allow people to get away with all sorts of illegal goings on. The judge and guards have been caught and nothing, take a look at the other article here where a bishop was charged with knowing get about child abuse, as did many bishops here and not one charged with or imprisoned for these vial crimes of allowing priests to move around and spread the abuse. We are far to PC for these people.
