As has become almost a tradition with crews on the International Space Station, Nasa astronaut Terry W. Virts today tweeted this wonderful image of Ireland looking as green could be.

No cloud over east because pic was taken a few hundred miles from a S.W. If it were taken from over the East you may only have seen the West of Ireland.
Green Monkey, the land is not divided, it’s the people.
Doubt that. Those clouds are probably less that 4k up whereas the ISS is 400km up.

You should check it again at ground level Glen. You probably wish there wasn’t a spec of orange anywhere but it’s taking up one third of that flag you made for yourselves so get used to it.
