So what did the solar eclipse look like?

People have been taking snaps (hopefully without looking at the sun, because that would not be a Good Thing) and sharing them on Twitter.

Here’s what has been seen so far:

There were some strange happenings going on though…

Well, now that it’s all over I can say that I looked directly, if briefly, at the eclipse, got a great view, and no damage was done. They can’t say it, but it is perfectly safe for most people just to have a brief glance.

Everybody just forget I said that before 2026.

I was in Cornwall for the 1999 full solar eclipse. It was the most amazing experience. It suddenly went pitch black and then after 2 minutes it was like someone flicked a light switch and suddenly it was daylight again. It was awesome. We were on top of a cliff. We could see light in the horizon and we saw street lights all come on in the towns below.
I’m definitely going to go to the ellipse in the United States in 2017.

It’s a warning from the Lord for the Irish (including the Northern Prods as well) to turn from the paths of wickedness and return to his bosom. Oh yes. There will also be winds which will lay low the mountains of the earth. Maybe not today. Honest.
