FINE GAEL HAS released its final marriage referendum campaign video in its latest push for a Yes vote on 22 May.
The video, which TheJounal.ie is publishing exclusively this evening, encourages people to ‘have one chat’ with someone and convince them to vote Yes.
The slick production, put together by the party’s in-house media team, includes Taoiseach Enda Kenny having a chat with an elderly voter.
Presumably, Kenny is convincing him to vote Yes… or maybe talking about his recipe for the best scones.
Activists on both sides of the marriage debate have released a plethora of videos in recent weeks.
Today, Labour released a moving video of one of its openly gay TDs, John Lyons, speaking to his mother and brother about coming out:
But while there appears to be more videos out there advocating a Yes vote, the No side, with fewer YouTube productions, may actually be winning the views war.
This Mothers and Fathers Matter video encouraging you to ‘make up your own mind’ has over 313,000 views:
Meanwhile, this Iona Institute video, outlining the reasons to Vote No in one minute, has has over 205,000 views:
But back on the Yes side, this much-talked about video from Mrs Brown has over 275,000 views:

I use a free app called “App Lock”, it blocks all in game/app purchases.
Why would you give your phone to your kid ? And before people say to keep them quiet that’s ridiculous and further more kids shouldn’t have phones
