FORMER INTERNATIONAL MONETARY Fund chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn has been cleared of pimping charges in a French trial that hinged on sex parties that took place in the midst of the global financial crisis.
Today’s verdict closes four years of legal drama. Ten others were acquitted as well.
The 66-year-old merely nodded his head in acknowledgement of the verdict in Lille which found him not guilty of procuring prostitutes to take part in sex parties in Paris, Brussels and Washington.
Strauss-Kahn had told the court the parties were much-needed “recreational sessions” and he did not know the women who took part were prostitutes.
In often sordid testimony, the women described sometimes brutal get-togethers that, they said, were not fun for them at all.
Allegations against Strauss-Kahn started when a New York hotel maid accused him of sexual assault in 2011. That case was settled out of court.

If a company cannot fix a priority security flaw or indeed any bug in 90 days, it has some serious organisational problems.
Apart from that bug I think that the real problem with Windows 8.1 is that its designers have never used it and they haven’t a clue about users needs
Correct , got a new laptop recently , windows 8, returned it soon after , it is a rubbish OS. my old laptop has Vista , very straightforward an easy to use . why did they have make such a huge change , then produce one that nobody can use without hassle.
