POLICE IN BELFAST are investigating after a man was threatened with a hammer last night – in an apparent attempted car-jacking.
The delivery man was driving on Albert Street shortly after 9.30pm when it happpened.
He told police a man armed with a hammer had stepped into the road attempting to force the vehicle to stop.
The driver swerved to avoid the man – who struck the side of his van with the hammer as he drove past.
“We are keen to hear from witnesses or anyone who was in the Albert Street area at around the time this incident took place,” Detective Sergeant Melanie McGrory said.
“Detectives can be contacted at the offices of Belfast Reactive and Organised Crime in Musgrave Police station by calling 101.”

Yes I was expected a story about some unsuspecting professional printing out some plastic PDF getting hit in the face with a hockey puck, done remotely by some 11 year old hacker
