A WOMAN IN her late 20s has died after the car she was driving collided with a truck at about 7am.
Gardaí in Ballybofey, Co Donegal are investigating the incident, which occurred on the main Letterkenny to Sligo Road, the N13, this morning.
The collision occurred in the townland of Trentabouy, Convoy.
A female was fatally injured when the car she was driving collided with a truck. Her body has been removed to Letterkenny General Hospital.
The driver of the truck was uninjured.
The road is currently closed to facilitate a Garda Forensic Collision Examination. Local diversions are in place.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to this collision to contact them at Ballybofey Garda Station on 074 9137740, The Garda Confidential Line 1800 666111 or any Garda Station.

The jokeshop speed vans on dual carriageways at 60 kmph are pure money-grabbing exercises. They should be out near dangerous bends with speed checks or on the M50 doing something about the Middle-lane-only brigade and the unrelenting tail-gaters in the overtaking lane.
