A GROUP OF teenagers had a lucky escape when they managed to get out of a limosuine shortly before it a freight train crashed into it.

ABC News reports that more than more than 10 passengers were in the limo. They were celebrating a 16th birthday party when the incident occured in Indiana.

A passerby tried to get train to stop but it was too close. The train’s load was about 10,000 tonnes.

ABC said train/vehicle accidents happen about six times a day in the US, with one fatality daily.
