SUN COLUMNIST AND perpetual Tweetrage generator Katie Hopkins is at it again.
Speaking to Michael Buerk (of all people) in the Radio Times, the former Apprentice contestant said she’d like to see a world where the elderly were given similar treatment to dogs.
Euthanasia vans could visit them offering a peaceful death, she told the veteran broadcaster.
“They might even have a nice little tune they’d play,” Hopkins said.
I mean this genuinely. I’m super-keen on euthanasia vans. We need to accept that just because medical advances mean we can live longer, it’s not necessarily the right thing to do.
“It’s ridiculous to be living in a country where we can put dogs to sleep but not people.”
In her defence, Buerk had asked her what she’d do “if Katie Hopkins ruled the world”. Perhaps he should have known better.
Hopkins, by the way, also had some choice words for the obese:
“You’re fat because you eat too much and don’t do exercise.
“End of. My dream job would be to sit in the doctor’s surgery, ticking them off. ‘Get a grip, you fat bastard. Stop eating and get out there and walk.’ ”
Hopkins, you may recall, previously hit the headlines for calling migrants “cockroaches” and for these pretty incendiary tweets about Ebola.

Dublin were very poor today. Once Kk got their first goal it was curtains for Dublin. Dublin were lucky Kilkenny didn’t play to their full potential as they would have been absolutely destroyed. The result/score was bad enough but Dublin never got going apart from a few players like Eoghan O’Donnell and there was no fight or pride in them. It was absolutely shocking

Leinster hurling is just KK and Galway. This year Galway not really at the races and it shows because noone else can step up to challenge. Tomorrow is the real deal though
