Thermal imaging camera system spots lies

Researchers say that cameras which detect changes in blood vessels can identify if someone is lying or telling the truth.

A NEW THERMAL imaging camera system which detects changes in blood vessels and facial movements can tell if a person is lying, according to researchers.

The system was revealed today by researchers at the University of Bradford and the University of Aberystwyth, who claim it could be used in security. The BBC reports that it involves videoing a person while they are speaking and using high-res thermal imaging to detect lies by watching for changes in expression, breathing, blinking and facial blood vessels.

The researchers involved say it works in about two-thirds of cases; testing so far has involved willing participants.

If we could use this while watching politics, viewing figures would go through the roof.

Lies and cheating is passed down through the years from our trusted servants in powerful positions. It is part of the fabric in our society now and 90% of people have these values. The main colours are the church, the civil servants, bankers, politicians, auctioneers, solicitors and barristers, developers, dole cheats, insurance companies, etc
    Make it 95%.
